OFX troubles

Postby pvanderlei » Mon Feb 02, 2009 5:52 pm

I get "Unable to connect to Ameritrade Error Code Client Error (CLIENTERROR)" when trying to do OFX with my Ameritrade account. I captured a debug log as described on the wiki. After I remove my username/passwords/acct numbers, where should I send it for help? Or should I just attach it here?

Please dont attach sensitive data at the forum, please either pm it to us or send to info at mthbuilt.com

So we are clear, we dont support investment accounts at this point
and its likely that ameritrade may mark
your accounts as such,

Thanks

OK, well that certainly explains my problem. Perhaps I was misled by the "Investment Account" option in the new account dialog. If you can support them in the near future, you'll be in a much better competitive position versus Quicken. Is that feature in the works? Once you support them, I'll be a paying customer for sure.

Yes it is in the works. Investments module is in private test at the moment and we are planning to go to public test soon,

Thanks

An RSS feed somewhere on your site would allow people like me to keep tabs on the features that are preventing us from becoming paid users. I look forward to the investment option. If it hits the streets before Quicken end-of-lifes my Quicken 2006 (April 15), then I won't be forced to pay for a Quicken upgrade before moving over to My Money.

Sure, you can watch http://www.mthbuilt.com/releasenotes.html we update it with each release,

Our release cycles are short, we average 5 to 6 weeks per release and we plan on keeping it that way.

We can't commit to a certain date, Investments module is actually quite complicated; we might release some basic functionality first, for example equities, and then add synthetic securities later for example, we have not finalized the road map as of yet.
