Reports

Postby reedjohnstn » Thu Jan 22, 2009 10:34 pm

:?: When I attempt to print my reports out, the report does not print the last entry on the paper. It prints the top half of the printed line and the rest is off the paper, or it skips the printed line altogether. My question, is there someway to set the margins for the reports page so that it will include the last line at the bottom of the report, or will you have to correct this at your end? I am using a Macpro Laptop with OS 10.5, if for some reason you need to know this information. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Reed

Is it for all the reports or something particular? Also, do you change things like the paper format, for example going from letter to A4, etc

Thanks

I have tried everything to make the report to print correctly. The printer is set for US Letter and I even checked the box were it says "Scale to fit page." That is the only change I made and it produces the same results. It does it on the transaction and category reports.

The only reports I have tried to print are:
All transactions (Current month, All dates, Current year and Custom).
Categorized (Current month, All dates and Current year)
I haven't a great deal of data to print since I just started using the program. The all transactions report and the Categorized current month reports have seven pages to print and the problem exist with each one of these reports. Is there something I may be missing in the printout? Like I said, I have made sure I am printing with US letter.

If you don't mind, could you please save one of the reports into PDF and send it to us.

PDF is the same as the printer output so we should be able to see the problem there.

Please either pm it here on the forum or send to info at mthbuilt.com

Thanks

I appreciate your help. The problem was with the printer. I was using an old printer and for some reason when I selected US Letter it would not hold it in that position. After the printer would start to print, it would revert back to A4. I changed to another printer and it works fine. I am sorry to have caused you all that trouble. Thank you for quickly responding to my questions.
