Do you have a revised schedule for this module to be released? Can you provide any additional information on how it will work?

I've just downloaded the trial version of MyMoney. For years I have used Ms Money but this is no longer updated in the UK. Although MS Money still meets my needs I always have issues when I come to upgrade or rebuild my PC and I thought it was time to check out some other options.

I have recently installed a full verion of Moneydance but I just don't think it fully meets my needs, mainly the lack of support adn ability to update fund prices in the UK. It is on the Moneydance forums I discovered MyMoney and downloaded the trial. Already it "feels" better. However, I really want to keep an eye on my Investment Funds. I discovered that Google have a simple but far-reaching finance API and wondered if this is something you have explored with the Investment module?

We are trying to integrate as much as we can with both Google and Yahoo for purposes of API integration, as well as obtaining real-time data feeds.

In terms of the User Interface we are modeling it after a regular Portfolio view interface, where users can configure/filter visible data as they see fit.

Ideally we want to be compatible with 3rd party portfolio managers so users can take their data back and forth between My Money and other investment applications.

Investments Module is in a private beta right now, we distributed it to a select set of users and waiting for a feedback.

Thanks

As its almost been a month do you have any idea of a build release date for this feature?

Sorry, no updates. It is in testing, we are making progress but we feel it isn't ready for public beta as of yet.

We would much rather apologize for being late than to apologize that we releases something we are not comfortable with
