New User: Importing QIF, Mortgage Accounts

Postby dimebag » Mon Oct 27, 2008 8:04 pm

I have recently changed to a Mac, and have been looking at finance software. My Money seems great but i have had some problems. In am in Australia, i need tdownload in a QIF file then import. No transactions appear onthe screen even when i try to match them. I have already set up my accounts.
Does it support mortgage accounts ? ie interest rate, principle and total interest?
Thanks!

We replied, please check the private mail.

We don't support mortgages specifically but we do have liability accounts and you can set a repeating payment that is split or 3 or 4 separate payments ( principal goes into associated asset account, interest into liability, escrow into another asset account, etc) We know of customers that split the mortgage payment into 9 or 10 ways, I suppose you can always make things as complex as you need.

Thanks
