Business Balance Sheet Report
Posted: Mon Dec 05, 2016 6:04 pm
I am using a registered version of My Money, having changed from using Quicken Deluxe on a PC, and wish to prepare a business Balance Sheet for a charity organisation for the year 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016.
When using Available Reports/Operations/Balance Sheet (Custom) with :-
Date Format dd MMMM yyyy,
Date Range 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016
All Payees
All Categories
All Accounts
I get a very inaccurate report with the Cheque Acc having a -$37,841.45 balance instead of $8444.57, Investment Acc having a balance of $341.53 instead of $8501.57 but with the Investment Acc No2 balance being correct. (See the attached files).
Also I would prefer the layout to be the same or similar to the Quicken report below as this is the usual format used.
Questions:-
1. Why are the Balances INCORRECT. (Obviously, I can not use the MyMoney report)
2. Is it possible to "design" a custom layout.
If there is no work around, the the only other way a correct report can be prepared is by designing a simple spreadsheet and transposing the figures manually. However, this should not be necessary as MyMoney should be able to prepare an accurate report (even if different formate).
I look forward to a response.
