Importing from QIF problems

Postby cypr23 » Wed Jun 24, 2015 8:53 am

I am a new user attempting to convert from iBank (5.1.1 version). I created a QIF export from iBank which is the only format common with the MyMoney import function.

When importing, random transactions does not consider the euro number delimiters and therefore enters a wrong format; i.e. 123,45 gets imported as 12345,00. or vise versa 123,45 gets imported as 1.23
The account is defined with the current delimiters and the corresponding iBank accounts has the same format at delimiters. I looked at the QIF file for the specific transactions and they are correctly formatted, including the transaction just before and just after, which are imported correctly. As stated, this happens randomly as far as I can see. I tried to look for any patterns or common denominators for the transactions in question but was unable to find any.

Any help is appreciated as I am looking forward to this migration to MyMoney.

Hello,

If you send us a fragment of the file that has these random issues we will take a look, perhaps its something that can be adjusted in MyMoney settings through patterns

Please sanitize the file before sending it to us, i.e. remove account numbers

Thanks,
