There is no set year end procedure in MyMoney, you can simply reconcile the transactions and keep them in the database, the program performance is not affected by the number of entries in the ledger.

You can filter your register views so only the uncreconciled transactions are visible. Having all historical data is helpful as you can search against it, run the reports etc.

If you would like you can also backup the file and give it a relevant name, for example money2014.zip and keep it for future reference
