Hi

I'm contemplating upgrading my OS on my Mac to Yosemite. Is MyMoney compatible with that? I'm currently running 2.0.87 but can upgrade if need be.

Many thanks

Hello,

We just updated Mac AppStore with build 2.0.90 that (among other things) has Yosemite related fixes, once it gets approved by Apple you can get it from there

Or you can get it from us directly at http://www.mthbuilt.com/download.php - we will post it in few days

Thanks

Hi,

Any update on whether the new version of MyMoney release date yet? Also, when it happens, is there a way of downloading it throuogh the App store (on Mac) without paying a second time? I bought it via your website in April so presumably have a few months left on my licence.

Many thanks

Hello,

We are planning on publishing 2.0.90 this Friday (10/30/2014), pending passing of internal testing. Apple AppStore version has been already submitted but we are not sure how long it will take before it goes live, in our experience it can be as little as a week or a as long as a month

At any rate, you should be able to download and upgrade directly from us because you are within a year since initial purchase, we will convert your AppStore purchase into internal license if you remind us after the download

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the latest release. I was previously running version 2.0.87 on my IMac which is operating with Mavericks. Unfortunately when I upgraded to version 2.0.90 (downloaded from your site) I had problems.

When I tried to open the installer I got the message "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)"

I restarted my Mac and then it allowed me to install. I then opened the App directly from my Applications folder but it wouldn't open. The Icon appeared in my Dock and bounced up and down a couple of times before disappearing.

I have now used Time Machine to go back to 2.0.87.

The entire process was done whilst using Mavericks. I'm reluctant to upgrade to Yosemite until I'm 100% sure MyMoney will work with it.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hello,

Please keep 2.0.87 for the time being, while we are confident that 2.0.90 is working fine - perhaps in your case there are some other issues. We will follow up with an email on Monday asking you to run a couple of tests and capture log files so we know whats going on

Thanks

Thanks.

In the meantime, does .87 work with Yosemite?

it does - there are small issues like fonts rendering but overall it should be fine

2.0.90 is a big change in terms of how code is signed to conform with new Apple requirements going forward, that's what most likely causing issues, not Yosemite per se

Thanks
