Column Alignment

The amounts recorded in the Payment, Deposit and Balance columns are aligned to the left. Numbers are usually aligned to the right I believe. Is this a small bug?

Thanks
Colin

No one ever complained about it, and we don't mind left alignment ourselves.

We can option this I suppose, it isn't a big change

An optional approach would be fine. I have worked in finance all my life and have never seen numbers aligned in any way other than to the right - as an instance just look at the statement supplied by your bank.

I hope you can fit such an amendment in. Personally I do find the left alignment somewhat off-putting.

Great looking app though with some very nice functionality.

I note you even left align numbers in the reports. This is definitely not on - basic accounting practice dictates that numbers are aligned to the right. You only have to look at any company financial statement/balance sheet etc. to see what I mean.

Point noted. We will add alignment options

So you know the numeric values can now be optionally aligned in register tables, controlled through preferences

We didn't add it to reports yet, but it is in the pipeline.

This is from build 2.0.35, available 10/10/08
