Multiple positions of same security

Hi,

I am having a problem when I download new transactions to existing accounts from my broker, they get put into new portfolios and new positions are created. Thus, each time I receive a dividend, it ends up in a new position. How do I consolidate these new transactions into the original position containing the first transactions?

Does this happen all the time reliably ? may be we can take a look at sanitized XML?

We are planning on adding merge positions, it is actually on a short list of functionality, will get delivered in 2.0.64-65 timeframes
