I recently purchased a new computer and need to transfer the MYMONEY file that contains all my account information, can someone please help me find the correct file to transfer to my new computer.

The best way to move your data is to backup your files on the first computer and move the resulting zip file to the second computer.

The backup file is a regular zip file, its location is specified in My Money preferences.

Once you located your backup file please transfer the zip file to the new computer, unzip it there into a relevant folder (C:\Documents\Financials for example, or similar) and start MyMoney.


Please use File-File Open menu to navigate to the location of the expanded zip file,
