Matrix screensaver

Very new to the iMac having had a PC destroyed by a bad virus 2 days ago. In my search of a Money like program I have found MTH but am now worried that whenever I leave the screen for a few minutes I get a 'Matrix' type display. Is this a screensaver or have I managed to transfer a virus to my Mac !!

it is a My Money screensaver and it kicks in after 20 mins of inactivity
You can adjust the timing or disable it through preferences dialog.

Did you know this kicks off in the background even if you're using other apps, which really kills the battery on a portable? Not sure if this is intentional, but it'd be great to be able to disable it.

It is intentional.
To disable it simply put 9999 into Screen Lock Wait time, this will increase time period before screen locker kick in to about 1 week (9999/60/24 = 6.94 days)
