Downloaded Transactions do match Memorized Transactions

Hi MTH Support

No matter what I try I cannot get my downloaded transactions to match up with my scheduled memorized transactions. Meaning that they still appear as an active scheduled transaction in memorized transactions lists. This causes the Forecast Balance to be incorrect as the bill is actually paid but still showing as scheduled. I have copied verbatim the Payee Description from my bank statement and pasted that into the memorized transaction Payee fields in both the 'Memorize Transaction As' and 'Pay To' fields but still no match occurs. The check that can be performed in the bill matching setup reports a 100% match and yet the transactions remain unmatched.

Any ideas?

Downloaded transactions are matched against transactions already entered into the register. Memorized transactions are just that, memorized and waiting to be entered.

You need to either enter them manually before downloading and then they will be matched, or skip them form the calendar after downloading, or enter them and merge them manually with downloaded transaction

I have a number of memorized transactions showing in the register and downloaded my bank statement containing the same transactions expecting the transactions to be matched. They were not matched. The Payee is exact, the amount is exact, the only difference for one transaction is the dates, the downloaded transaction was dated 09032010 and the register transaction was dated 12032010. Why were they not matched? The other transaction shows exactly the same issue and this transaction also has the exact payee description, amount and even the dates are the same!

I have to watch out for this everytime and delete the unwanted records.

PS - I tried to upload a word document describing this but it seems extensions with .doc are not allowed, how should this be handled?

Further information - I checked my Preferences and days to delete duplicates is set as 4 days

Any News on this problem. It is occurring with every downloaded transaction, none get matched to transactions in the register.

I received a separate mail from you stating you were unable to reproduce this issue in the lab, using the data I provided. But in this topic I see you report that you hope to have this fixed in the next release, so I assume you did find a problem - can you please confirm that is the case.

I can confirm that since me first reporting this issue, after further bank statement downloads I can see that some transactions are matching and others not, but I can't establish the pattern.
