Reconciling Accounts on Mac

Ok I have come to reconcile a credit card... my starting balance is 0.00 on the statement and this is reflected within the Money program as well.... in the month I have made one transaction to the account a charge of 40.00
how does money choose which transactions you are reconciling thru the reconcile window... I see no etc.... for me to check off from the statement... or am I missing something as the reconcile is out unless I do a account adjustment...
