Reconciling - Deposit and withdrawal Details

While reconciling, is there a way to determine the status of the running deposit amounts and withdrawal amounts individually? The bank statement presents them that way, and if I'm off in my balance it would be useful to know whether it's a deposit or a withdrawal amount I should be searchng for.

Hello,

If you resort the columns based on your criteria (i.e. first Deposits, sorted by date, then Withdrawals) then running balance column should match your statement,

Does that not happen in your case?

I hadn't considered resorting and using the running totals, but I'm sure that will work next time. Thanks.
