Update problems

I recently downloaded version2.0.48. The download went ahead without problems and installed itself. Now I had two versions at the same time neither of which could not open the database. Having lost all my files I had to delete the old version and start a new database for the new version. I see that there is now another version 2.0.49. I am reluctant to download this in case I have the same problems.

Hello,

Before upgrading please create a backup of your database through File-Data Maintenance-Backup and store it separately so it does not get overridden by consequent backups.

The new versions upgrade the database automatically, so once you upgraded to 2.0.49 you can't simply go back and read your data with an older version of My Money.

If you want to go back you will need to restore the database from the backup file first and then point your older version of My Money to it.
