I've read on your forum that you planned to make check printing available earlier this spring. I'm using MyMoney for Mac. Is this feature fully available? When I try to print a check I get the message "the account has no new checks to print" even though I have selected transactions.
thank you.

Hello,

Check Printing has been available for a few month now, you need to upgrade to version 2.0.42 or better (current version is 2.0.45)

Once you have a version that supports check printing you need to tell My Money what are the checks you are trying to print.

To do so you can either select predefined "Print" in the Check # field on the transaction editor, or you can switch the Transaction Status into "Print" through Transaction Status editor

Once you have checks to be printed please use File-Print Checks to print your checks

Thanks

Thank you. I have the latest version, Build 45. Printing using predefined "Print" in the # field worked fine. I'm still not sure on how to - switch the Transaction Status into "Print" through Transaction Status editor - and can not find direction in your online manual. But at least I can print checks. Thanks again.

To activate Transaction Status Editor please select desired transaction in the register,

Please click once on its status cell (Column S), a list will appear where you can pick from available statuses for this transaction (Pending, Print, Void, etc)

The list choices vary depending on the context of the transaction and the type of Account.

Once you pick "Print" status this transaction will be marked so and you will be able to print the check if so desired

Again....thank you. I looked in the MyMoney manual and couldn't find this information. Very helpful.
BTW, I love this program. I've been using Quicken for years on a PC, but since switching to MAC have been very unhappy with it.
Many Thanks.
