Wachovia Bank Setup

Currently running MS Money via VMFusion. Trying before buying, wanted to run MyMoney in parallel for 30 days or so to see how it works.

Was able to set up all my other accounts quite easily except, Wachovia Bank. Am getting the following error message:
Unable to obtain the account list from the bank: Wachovia Bank.

I tried different AppId and AppVer settings. When I do that I get an error message that says that I'm trying to access the bank with incompatible software or something like that.

Looking forward to trying out your product. Please advise with any setup suggestions you might have. Thanks!

Is Wachovia OFX working for you through Microsoft Money or Quicken?

To our knowledge, Wachovia requires access to be enabled through phone call first.

I'm currently accessing my Wachovia account via MS Money (on a Mac with VMFusion).

With MS Money going away I have been trying out various software products to see which I like the best (Moneydance, MoneyWell, and iBank). Have been able to setup Wachovia in each of those and download transactions successfully. Was able to setup other accounts successfully in MyMoney, just not the Wachovia account.

Not sure if it's of any help, but when I setup the Wachovia account in MoneyWell I used both the Money and Quicken Mac formats. Both seemed to work.

However, so far, I like your product better. Resembles MS Money which I've used for years.

Is it a regular checking account, or it is investments related perhaps?

I have 3 accounts: checking, money market, and line of credit.

I set up the checking account, then went to set up the connection. I click 'test connection' and then get the error message about not being able to download the list of accounts.

When you setup a connection we actually retrieve all available account information and that would include your money market accounts.

Most banks classify money markets internally as an investment account and we don't support investments as of yet.

The investments should go into public beta in a couple of releases.

As a heads up we do plan on charging more for Invesstments module, excluding money market accounts that most people simply use as a better savings account

Hi, maybe i am asking not in this thread, but mthadm, when are you planning to release Build 45?
And great job fixing AquaComboBoxEditor issue on certain Macs receiving MacOS updates. Keep going.
