Change Transaction from deposit to withdrawal

I am sure this is a very simple fix...however, I just can't figure out how to change the transaction type with one click. I have tried to delete series and corrected the type of transaction but continues to come up green in color as if it's a deposit. Please help!!

Inverse sign on the amount field, i.e. if you had a deposit of $20, putting minus sign in front of 20 so it becomes -20 will flip the transaction type into withdrawal
This is also true for splits and transfers, i.e. inverting sign on a transfer amount causes it to be counted as a debit or credit based on amount signage.
