I am sure this question just shows my inexperience with Mac, but here goes. How do I get My Money to automatically import a OFX file when I double click the file or even better when it finishes downloading in the browser? Currently when I double click it it brings My Money up, but it will not import.

This is a known problem in My Money. Without going into technical details, it is a little hard to provide a universal solution that works on MacOS X and earlier versions as well.
We will provide a fix once we are satisfied with the solution; meanwhile you can use manual imports through File-Import-Import OFX File.
