How do you enter a void check number? With a 0.0 amount, the enter option is not available.

1) Select Transaction that you want to void, click on its 'S' cell under (S stands for Status) right in the register table, small popup will come up, select Void

or

2) Select Transaction(s) you want to void, select "Mark Transactions As" on the left, select Mark Transaction Void

or

3) Select Transaciton you want to void and press Ctrl, Shift and v. If you void transacitons often you may want to reassign keyboard combination to to a 2 key combination

Okay - that all works for a transaction that was entered the voided. How about just adding the check number (for tracking purposes) and Void - no transaction had occurred.

We don't support this scenario. Transaction needs to be entered into ledgers first in order to be voided properly - this is because internally we keep track of transaction life cycle.
