Sub Categories

Postby crenn » Sat Mar 28, 2009 11:16 pm

I'll click on add a new category to create a sub category but there is no parent category to click on. All I get is a Category Type and three choices. What's going on with this ?

Yes - I can not add a "sub-category". When/will this be fixed?

Hello,

This has been fixed already and is going to be released in few days in build 2.0.42

Meanwhile, if you need to add a new Sub-Category please do so right from the register, for example if you want to plant a subcategory "New" into "Automobile" expenses please start a new Withdrawal transaction, select Automobile as a Category and simply type "New" in the subcategory box. When you change the focus into a different field a dialog box will come up asking for a confirmation for "New" subcategory

Thanks
