Case Insensitive Categories

Postby chuckg » Fri Mar 27, 2009 6:23 am

Is there anyway to make the categories, or even better everything in the register case insensitive? It is tough to really get cranking on normalizing my imports when I have to remember case. If I don't then MyMoney wants to make a new payee, category, etc.

Thanks,

Mthadm,

Sorry, I did not make that clear, I fear. I was hoping to see the Categories, and even To From entries be case insensitive. When you start typing they will auto fill. The problem is the system seems case sensitive so when you type "bob's auto" the entry "Bob's Auto" does not come up. If you are not careful you end up being asked to create a category or payee for "bob's auto" in addition to "Bob's Auto".

The import comment was when I experience this most using My Money.
