We have a fix for this issue, if you want we can cut a private build for you so you can see if it helps in your particular situation

I think at this point we have confirmed that the problem has been addressed and the fix is scheduled for the next build - 2.0.42

Using the new build I am experiencing the register's focus moving to the top of the register after entering a new transaction.
