I have downloaded the latest version of money for mac that is running mountain lion, it downloaded fine but when I went to install it I got this message...“MyMoney” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. Please tell me I have not lost all my files and how can I get them back

Please open your Mac preferences and look for Gatekeeper, it is located in the General tab of the Security & Privacy preference pane is a setting called “Allow applications downloaded from,” with three options

Anywhere, Mac App Store and Identified Developers.

Please choose Anywhere and try again,

For info, you can reset Gatekeeper back to 'Mac App Store and Identified Developers' after your first use of MyMoney, to maintain security.
