can't connect to Compass Bank

I'm trying to set up a checking account with Compass Bank for online download -- I'm on a Mac. Compass Bank is one of the institutions for which My Money provides all the OFX settings (all the fields in Bank Connection Settings are populated), but when I test the connection after entering my user ID and password, I get the following error: "Unable to connect to Compass Bank; Error Code Empty OFX Message." Any help on how to set up this connection would be appreciated. Is it possible that the OFX settings need to be updated from the defaults provided by the software?

We typically see this error when either the credentials are wrong or the accounts are not enabled for direct downloading.

Banks generally don't provide more meaningful messages for security reasons

Thanks for the very quick response. I update this account through 2 other apps (yes, I'm trying lot of alternatives), so that's probably not the problem. So when you say the "credentials" might be wrong, are you referring to the OFX settings? How do I update those, contact the bank directly?

Credentials could be you user name/password or bank server information. We update bank information twice a year through a 3rd party vendor, so data could go obsolete.
You can try to get this information from banks technical support, they will know it better

Has anyone been able to connect to Compass Bank? I still can't get it to work. The OFX information appears to be correct, and my login information is definitely correct. I'm still getting the same error message as above. Aaargh...
