I've been loooking at setting up MyMoney Live, but I can't clear out all the transactions to close the 'trial' account.

For some reason, the 'Delete transaction' button is greyed out.

Can you help, please?

Thank you.

Hello,

We can't open you file, it is encrypted without backdoors. But we can delete your file and you can start from scratch, would that work?

That would be fine,thank you.

How are you getting on with the config stuff, i.e. date formatting (dd/mm/yyyy) and using '£' rather than '$' in the balance column of the Account Manager area (and '£,GBP' in the Currency column - why not just '£')?

As MyMoney Live has an import feature, will it import an export from MyMoney and could I import from UK banks and CC companies, please?

Thank you,

Pete

Hello,

We deleted the file, next time you login you will see a default setup with no transactions.

After first login please change locale in the preferences, logout and login again, date formats should be in your chosen locale

Live version will be able to import export from desktop version, its on a short todo list

Thanks

OK done that, thanks.

Just a couple of things...

The date (for my, anyway) should read 01/11/2014 for the 1st November 2014 in My Checkbook, not 1/11/14.
The Balance in Account Manager is still showing in '$' and Currency' is '£,GBP', when it could be one or the other (my preferred option would be just to use the '£')
Just one more 'British' thing...
If you can set the locale, could you include changing the spelling of 'check' to 'cheque' for UK users, please? I thinks only Americans spell it 'check' :D

I MyMoney Live will be able to import from MyMoney, does that mean I could import it manually now, using the *.qif format, please?

Thanks - and it really does seem to be a great product, by the way!

Pete

It's me again

I was wondering how things are going with MyMoney Live, because I still have the issue with the totals in Account Manager showing '$', even though the individual accounts show '£' - see attached screenshot (if I can get it to work...)

Yes I did, thank you.

Also, did you have a think about shortening '£ - GBP' to '£'. I think it's much cleaner ;)

OK, so I had another look at MyMoney Live today (I can't believe it's been so long since my last visit!), but I was wondering how you're getting on with it?

There is still the issue in the Account Manager page where (my page) shows the totals shown in $s, when the rest is shown in £s.

Also, is there a licence fee to use My Money Live?

Thank you,

Pete
