Changing Default Highlighter

The Default transaction highlight is not easy on the eye. It is currently a bright Orange with White letters. Can it be changed to a softer mix?

You can change the highlighter through Preferences (General/Table Highlighter)

You can also assign different colors to Payees and Categories which will highlight them in tables

Sorry, but you misunderstood. Your response explains how to change the color scheme of the table. My issue is that ONE of the transactions in EVERY TABLE is highlighted with white letters on bright orange. Can THIS HIGHLIGHTING be changed or eliminated? Thanks.

This is most likely because you assigned a color to a particular payee or category, if you select this transaction in the register and press Control-1 (Command-1 on Mac) this will bring Payee editor ( you can also switch into Lists and edit Payee information from there) Please make sure that the Payee color is not set to bright orange

Orange highlight is not consistent with any one payee or category. Attached is screen shot of what I am seeing. In this instance it's the first entry in the register, but it varies, ie, the last entry highlighted, middle entry, etc. Thanks.

When you select a transaction from the register MyMoney paints your selection differently so you can see what is the active transaction. If you move your mouse and point it to a different transaction and click on it then it will get selection instead,
