Enter scheduled tranactions directly

I know you can easily memorize transactions in the current version, but are there plans to add the ability to enter scheduled transactions directly? This would be a great addition to the software. Thanks!

Not clear we understood the question.

If you are asking for automatic entering of scheduled transactions at a due date, plus minus few days, then yes, this is being worked on.

Could you please elaborate, thanks

I'm sorry I was unclear. I'm a recovering MS Money user, and I'm used to being able to enter all of my bills into the "Bills & Deposits" section independent of the register. As I understand how your software works, I must first enter a transaction into a register and then choose to memorize it. I'm wondering if there are any plans in place that would allow a user to enter and schedule transactions without first entering them into the register.

Hopefully that's more cogent!

Thanks for he clarification.

This is being discussed, we would like bills and deposits to be more flexible and have the ability not to be tied up to a particular transaction.
This will allow variable/calculated amounts in recurring transactions for example

We can't promise that we will follow Microsofts model, but we can promise that we will improve usability of recurring transactions

Thanks for the prompt reply! It's just one more example of why I'm excited about using your software!

I'm glad to hear that this is being discussed. It would be a major "plus" for me. Any idea when something might be rolled out in this regard?

Thanks again.

This functionality is planned for Q2/09, but we haven't finalized the discussions yet.

We have a very short development cycle with releases every 6 weeks or so, so the best estimation is 4 to 5 releases into 2009.
