UK Banks

Postby MM100 » Sat Jun 04, 2011 9:09 am

Hello
I have just found MyMoney (when looking for something quite different!). It would be really useful software for me if I could link to my banks in the UK. All I can get is a list of US banks. I have typed in a couple of banks' names but I cannot get the banks I need.

Is MyMoney able to link to banks outside the USA/Canada?

I note that someone from Leeds* has no problems, but it appears he is using MyMoney for stockmarkets, not accessing bank accounts.

Thanks for any help.

PS * Leeds is the financial city of the North of England!! - I did not know that, but I am from London and Londoners tend to ignore the rest of the UK... as people from Leeds and elsewhere well know - and maybe they can understand MyMoney better than I can :P

Hello,

MyMoney works with the online statements in the OFX (Open Financial Exchange) and QIF (Quicken Interchange Format) files

The UK banks that support OFX or QIF formats are:

-Abbey (QIF, but not Abbey Business)
-Alliance and Leicester (OFX and QIF)
-Barclays (OFX)
-Clydesdale (QIF)
-Coutts & Co (OFX and QIF)
-First Direct (QIF)
-Halifax (OFX and QIF)
-HSBC (OFX)
-Lloyds (QIF)
-NatWest(OFX)
-Nationwide (OFX)
-Royal Bank of Scotland (OFX and QIF)
-Tesco (OFX and QIF)
-Yorkshire (QIF)

This list is incomplete and could change.

Thanks,
